Before the recession hit before the internet came out more than a decade ago people were meant to follow in their parents footsteps. Social Security was strong 401K all the benefits were available. Most would remember this as the American Dream. To their amazement like most good things unless trusted in the good hands will not last. This American Dream was not taken care of not because human fault or ones ability to get something done. Worst the American Dream was stolen away by greed, selfishness, and pure arrogance. If I am correct these words were taught to us in grade school of what not to do.
I use to believe when I put my hand to my chest and said the pledge of allegiance that everyone around me meant what they said. I hate to say it but that is not the case here ladies and gentlemen. The American Dream is to drop the middle class to the poor level and the rich to be richer. This seems a little unfair to me.
Every day when I wake up and go to my job I put on the same boots. I always tell myself I am working to help to maintain are economy. Then I listen to the news on the way to work to find out somebody else in the upper class stole money from the government but is not going to jail. This not only ruins a good day but it also makes me wonder why I even put on those boots to go to work anyway. I am paying for things that wont be around when I get older. Dont get me wrong I like taking care of the elderly and helping out people in need.
When it comes to the life of people I say live it. I believe in savings but at the same time try to expand who you are. I believe that even though it is not safe to invest in this economy I believe there is still one safe investment left and that is ourselves. In order to get more out of life happiness is the key. If youre happy you think better and make smarter choices.
If you want to look at those boots for the rest of your life I understand. I dont because all I see is the wear and tear on ones body from working. Not to mention all the times you will be away from your family. Lets not forget working for a boss who doesnt care about anything but the overall make of the day. If something were to happen to you who knows if your health insurance will cover you or even be there.

The story is set about 8 months after the first movie. Genji is close to graduation at Suzuran High School, but one last matter must be settled with a rival school.
Genji Shun Oguri still hasnt quite managed to unify badass haven Suzuran High School under one leader due to a decisive loss to the mysterious Linda Man.
Unfortunately his goal of local domination must be put on hold when a longstanding truce with rival high school Housen Gakuen is suddenly broken. Led by the ferocious Taiga Narumi Kaneko Nobuaki, Housen launches an allout assault on Suzuran, throwing the reigning toughest school in all of Japan into a state of crisis. nipponcinemaThe action is, accordingly, more realistic, right down to the gorylooking makeup and bonecrunching sound effects. Also, the group battle scenes, with hundreds of punks whaling on each other, have a scale and impact reminiscent of the gaudier clashes in Braveheart, though no one gets their head lopped off with a sword.
Miike directs with an energy, velocity and cheeky bravado that are pure punk. He also understands why his Suzuran toughs fight as easily as they breathe its not just a release for their raging hormones, but a way of being with their friends and telling the world they exist.

But hey, at least Miike brought her back, so no complaints I guess.

Miike turned out an exhausting 24 films including two television miniseries between 1999 and 2002, confirming his status as one of the busiest directors in world cinema.

In order to help you along the way through the photographic world, here is a list of common camera terms you may see from time to time especially in my writing and what they mean. Some of this will get pretty technical, but I will have a link to further reading where I can. Lets get started:
Pixel Short for Element. Camera resolution is measured in millions of pixels, or In general, more megapixels are better than fewer.
Memory Card Memory card is the generic name for any removable card that stores images. The common types of cards are: Secure Digital SD, which includes Secure Digital High Capacity SD HC, Mini Secure Digital Mini SD, and Micro Secure Digital Micro SD, commonly found in cell phones and PDAs; xD which originally stood for extreme Digital, but has since lost that moniker; Compact Flash CF; Memory Stick proprietary to Sony, with the most common variant today being the Memory Stick Pro Duo; a smaller variant of the original Memory stick; MultiMedia Card MMC, similar to Secure Digital, however SD is more widespread.
Byte A unit of measurement of digital storage. A typical digital image is measured in millions of bytes, or Memory cards are typically measured in billions of bytes, or JPEG JPEG is a standard image type. JPEG stands for Joint Photographic Experts Group, the name of the organization that developed the protocol. The standard context is or All cameras will shoot standard image files in this format.
Compact Camera Also called cameras. Compact cameras are designed for easy operation. They normally have a zoom lens that is permanently attached to the camera, are generally easier to use than a single lens reflex camera, and do not normally give as much control over exposure to the operator.
Single Lens Reflex A single lens reflex SLR camera is a camera that lets the operator look at the exact image that is coming through the lens of the camera. This is achieved through the use of a reflex mirror, a mirror that diverts the light coming through the lens into the cameras viewfinder. This is important because it lets the operator see what the exact scene the camera is going to take a picture of. When the exposure is made, the reflex mirror swings up and out of the way to allow the film or image sensor to be exposed. Single lens reflex cameras SLRs are generally larger than compact cameras.
Image Sensor A digital cameras image sensor is the part of the camera that captures the image. It is the part that has replaced film. There are different types of image sensors, and each offer advantages and disadvantages, but the most common type is the Charge Coupled Device CCD.
Sensor Size With the introduction of digital single lens reflex DSLR cameras, camera manufacturers took the opportunity to make single lens reflex SLR cameras smaller by making the image sensor smaller than the imaging surface on a piece of 35mm film. Pixel Short for Element. Camera resolution is measured in millions of pixels, or In general, more megapixels are better than fewer.
Memory Card Memory card is the generic name for any removable card that stores images. The common types of cards are: Secure Digital SD, which includes Secure Digital High Capacity SD HC, Mini Secure Digital Mini SD, and Micro Secure Digital Micro SD, commonly found in cell phones and PDAs; xD which originally stood for extreme Digital, but has since lost that moniker; Compact Flash CF; Memory Stick proprietary to Sony, with the most common variant today being the Memory Stick Pro Duo; a smaller variant of the original Memory stick; MultiMedia Card MMC, similar to Secure Digital, however SD is more widespread.
Byte A unit of measurement of digital storage. A typical digital image is measured in millions of bytes, or Memory cards are typically measured in billions of bytes, or JPEG JPEG is a standard image type. JPEG stands for Joint Photographic Experts Group, the name of the organization that developed the protocol. The standard context is or All cameras will shoot standard image files in this format.
Compact Camera Also called cameras. Compact cameras are designed for easy operation. They normally have a zoom lens that is permanently attached to the camera, are generally easier to use than a single lens reflex camera, and do not normally give as much control over exposure to the operator.
Single Lens Reflex A single lens reflex SLR camera is a camera that lets the operator look at the exact image that is coming through the lens of the camera. This is achieved through the use of a reflex mirror, a mirror that diverts the light coming through the lens into the cameras viewfinder. This is important because it lets the operator see what the exact scene the camera is going to take a picture of. When the exposure is made, the reflex mirror swings up and out of the way to allow the film or image sensor to be exposed. Single lens reflex cameras SLRs are generally larger than compact cameras.
Image Sensor A digital cameras image sensor is the part of the camera that captures the image. It is the part that has replaced film. There are different types of image sensors, and each offer advantages and disadvantages, but the most common type is the Charge Coupled Device CCD.

Boxing As a Form of Exercise
Boxing As a Form of Exercise
I like to consider myself reasonably fit; Im an active healthy person with a good diet and well used gym membership. I can swim for an hour, run for 40 minutes and feel fine afterwards. So perhaps I can be forgiven for being overly confident entering my first pad based boxing workout.
It wasnt my idea; a friend of mine was heavily into boxing and mixed martial arts. Id been to the gym with him a few times for more conventional workouts. Wed lifted weights together and put in some serious CV sessions but he could never resist mentioning his Tuesday night boxing class making sure I knew that he considered it the most fulfilling exercise he did.
We started with some warm up exercises, throwing a medical ball back and forth coupled with some light skipping, hopping and stretching. I was going to be working through a gentle boxing session with the guy that I trained with; hed decided it would be best to ease me into it before jumping in the deep end and taking a full class.
He kindly provided me with all of the boxing equipment Id need for this introduction. He pulled out a sets of 12 ounce boxing gloves and some focus pads. I wouldnt be needing headgear or a gum shield as we were just going to focus on the basic boxing moves.
We began. We started with the basic jab which he labeled 1 then moved onto a left jab straight right combo labeled 2, 3 was a left jab straight right left hook combo. I was genuinely enjoying myself; we worked through the combos and basic moves until we had enough to run though from one to nine. I tried my hardest as he repeatedly corrected me for the position and movement of my feet, hands and placement of my guard.
As my confidence increased my training partner began mixing up the combos however I noted my punches weakening, how could this be? I was strong and fit and yet within an hour I could just about hold my hands up! We called it a day.
Nothing could have prepared me for the following morning. Every single muscle in my body ached. I could hardly move and was aching in places I didnt even know existed. I can honestly say that boxing training is without a doubt the single most effective method of training Ive ever participated in. Not only did it get the blood pumping Id also worked just about every muscle in my body.
As our sessions continued my conditioning improved, never had a form of training made me feel so unfit. All that time in the gym clearly hadnt been as effective as I thought it had.
I can honestly genuinely recommend boxing training, it neednt be violent and you dont have to spar. It is a fantastic form of exercise that stimulates the mind and the body. Give it a try..

Baseball Players Elbow Ligament Injuries
Baseball Players Elbow Ligament Injuries
Baseball is a sport that requires exerting large forces on the elbow to throw the ball. Throwing athletes are susceptible to specific ligament injuries of the elbow. Not all elbow pain is related to ligament injury, though. Other ligament injuries can occur in baseball due to other traumas. Tendinitis and bursitis are common soft tissue causes of elbow pain seen in baseball players. In the pediatric population, a variety of bony defects can occur at the elbow joint related to throwing, but are not related to the ligaments.
Ulnar Collateral LigamentThe ulnar collateral ligament is part of the medial ligament complex. It can be stretched or torn as a result of the throwing motion. Athletes can often feel a pop when there is the initial injury. Usually regular life activities are not affected, just throwing activities. Chronic changes can occur to the elbow after injury to the ligament if throwing is resumed prior to healing or surgical repair. Often patients will not be able to fully extend the elbow because of inflammation. Patients might also develop numbness and tingling in the fourth and fifth digits because of injury to the ulnar nerve neuropathy.
Treatment with nonoperative methods can be attempted but is usually not successful. Rest, bracing, and antiinflammatory medications can be helpful. Avoiding throwing activities is important. According to Dr. Denise Eygendaal of Amphia Hospital in the Netherlands, higher demand throwing athletes do worse with physical therapy and other nonoperative measures and typically require surgery. If physical therapy and nonoperative management fails, a surgery can be performed to reconstruct the ligament using a graft ligament. This is referred to colloquially as Tommy John Surgery.
Posterior Impingement/ Valgus Extension OverloadThrowing with poor mechanics can lead to excessive stress on the posteromedial part of the elbow inside and back portion. Athletes will complain of pain in the back of the elbow as it extends during throwing. There can be impingement symptoms, catching, locking and pain. There can be development of microtears in the medial ligaments because of valgus extension overload extra force on the medial ligaments as the elbow straightens. Extra bone growth can develop in the back of the elbow that leads to impingement as the elbow loses range of motion.
Treatment involves stopping all throwing, resting the elbow, using ice, physical therapy and using antiinflammatory medications. Surgery is indicated for patients with valgus laxity medial ligaments are stretched or for removal of the osteophytes that are causing impingement.
Posteromedial shear is a similar injury to posterior impingement, but the pain occurs during the acceleration phase of throwing. It is treated similarly with physical therapy, and surgery if necessary.
Posterolateral Rotary InstabilityPosterolateral rotary instability PLRI typically occurs after elbow trauma or after surgery on the lateral collateral ligament of the elbow. It is not linked to throwing trauma itself, but can result after surgery for other conditions or elbow trauma from other activities of baseball. PLRI can affect both athletic performance and daily activities. The elbow is painful, can have clicks with movement, and there can be other mechanical symptoms. Treatment with nonoperative methods usually fails. Surgery is aimed at reconstructing the lateral ligaments of the elbow or tightening up the lateral collateral ligament with the overall goal to improve stability of the joint.
Nonligamentous InjuriesThe major nonligamentous injuries that occur around the elbow include lateral epicondylitis tennis elbow and medial epicondylitis golfers elbow. These conditions are both related to tendons rather than ligaments. Lateral epicondylitis is a condition of overuse that causes pain over the lateral epicondyle where the extensor carpi radialis brevis ECRB has its origin. The ECRB muscle allows for extension of the wrist. Treatment consists of physical therapy and symptom relief with antiinflammatory medications and bracing. Sometimes surgery is required.
Medial epicondylitis is a condition that is less common than lateral epicondylitis. There is elbow discomfort over the inside/medial part of the elbow. There is tenderness typically over the pronator teres and flexor carpi ulnaris muscles. These muscles are involved in pronating turning the forearm and flexing the wrist. Treatment is physical therapy and symptom relief with antiinflammatory medications. Sometimes surgery is required for patients that do not respond to physical therapy. Lately, I become more certain with all of the work we do that we are a part of a community. And I happy to say that we care about what our community thinks of us, and I even fi nd myself feeling, more often than not, that our community cares about what we think of it.
Our venturing into print is a way of fostering that connection and taking it further, putting our work directly into your hands.
I been looking forward to working in print since we first started batting the idea around more than a year ago, taken by curiosity, ambition, and probably a little vanity. Certainly, one thing about print is that it nice to see your name in print.
But the more relevant, and ultimately the more satisfying, effect of this project is it opens up new avenues to our coverage with its permanence, allowing us to tell stories that we might not have otherwise been able to completely capture.
One such story is our first cover feature, Karen Snider piece on the launch of EV1Servers second data center. While data centers stories can be painfully dull at times, filled with figures and rote repetition of the same few requirements,
Karen managed to fill her take with the feeling of the event, the excitement and pride in accomplishment that accompany such an undertaking and its outcome.
Similarly, Dennis McCafferty story about Savvis acquisition of Cable Wireless America assets through a bankruptcy auction could have been a dull counting of beans, a list of SEC fi lings and consequences, but he managed to access the intensity of what obviously was an intense affair.
Philbert Shih piece on Major League Baseball Advanced Media manages to convey a bit of the keen energy of a man who, I can vouch, really does care about his baseball. And Wayne Epperson security feature, too, invokes a genuine uneasiness at facing the unavoidable.

Place the chicken and vegetables in a large stockpot over medium heat. Pour in only enough cold water to cover about 3 quarts; too much will make the broth taste weak. Toss in the thyme, bay leaves, and peppercorns, and allow it to slowly come to a boil. Lower the heat to mediumlow and gently simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, partially covered, until the chicken is done. As it cooks, skim any impurities that rise to the surface; add a little more water if necessary to keep the chicken covered while simmering.
Carefully remove the chicken to a cutting board. When its cool enough to handle, discard the skin and bones; handshred the meat into a storage container.
Carefully strain the stock through a fine sieve into another pot to remove the vegetable solids. Use the stock immediately or if you plan on storing it, place the pot in a sink full of ice water and stir to cool down the stock. Cover and refrigerate for up to one week or freeze.
I read some of the reviews of this recipe before I made it. Bland seemed to be the theme. With that in mind I doubled the onions, garlic, thyme bay leaf in the recipe for the stock and in the actual soup. Green House Data current SAN puts significant power requirements on the data center and takes up an entire 42 units of rack of space. With the V1000, Green House Data says it will be able to reduce its power requirements by 80 percent while achieving the same level of capacity and performance in only six rack units.
The Atrato solution will also enable Green House Data to support eight times as many customers than could be supported by the previous environment, according to the announcement.
