Apples iPod forever changed the world of music. It solidified the MP3s triumph over compact discs and set the style trend for all portable music players. The nanochromatic is the latest version of Apples iPod nano. Made from aluminum and glass, the nanochromatic has an allnew curved design. It comes in nine colours, including pink, blue, green, yellow and orange. The nanochromatic marks a return to the long and skinny shape of the first generation nanos.

This latest addition to the iPod 8gb family is packed with new features. The Genius feature, for example, creates playlists for you by selecting songs from your library that go well together. With the shake to shuffle mode, your iPod will choose a song for you each time you give it a little shake. This motionsensitive technology is also incorporated into some of the games available for the iPod nano. Tilt the nano to its side and you can look at your pictures in landscape view.

The Apple iPod touch is another member of the iPod 8gb family. The iPod touch features the same touch screen interface as the iPhone. Apple gave it a 3.5 inch screen to complement its WiFi capabilities and make surfing the web via the iPod touch easier on the eyes. In addition to downloading and listening to music, users can check their email and watch videos on the iPod touch.
